What is 'Caring Together Northumberland'
'Caring Together Northumberland' is the public face of The Northumberland System Transformation Board, a collaboration between the county's NHS, local authority and voluntary organisations with the aim of better 'joining-up' and transforming care across Northumberland.
Joining up care means improving the ways different organisations work together so that you receive the best possible care at the right time, be it from the NHS, social care or the voluntary sector.
From the youngest members of our society, to the frail and everyone in between, our aim is to deliver services which are easier to access, better organised and most importantly focussed around your needs.

I'm very proud to introduce you to 'Caring Together Northumberland' - a collaboration that's built around a renewed focus on how our local organisations and people work together to ensure better and more joined-up care across our fantastic county.
We come from a great starting point in Northumberland. Thanks to long-standing relationships we are leading the way in providing services which are organised around the needs of our patients - not organisations - but we want to do much, much more.
By providing the right care in the right place we can improve quality of life, access to care and encourage independence – helping our communities to live happier and healthier lives.
